Magic Random

ABOUT MAGIC RANDOM

Simple, free random tools that keep data with the user

Magic Random is made for people who need to choose, run an activity, or form groups without creating an account or uploading lists to a central service. We explain both what the tools can do and the limits users should understand before acting on a result.

Free without a Premium tier

All eight randomizer modes, list creation, editing, history, and core settings are available to everyone. Each browser supports up to 10 lists to keep device-local management simple.

Core lists stay in localStorage

List titles, choices, prizes, and result history are not stored in the Magic Random database. There are no user accounts or cross-device sync. Feedback is separate and is transmitted only when submitted.

Advertising supports the service

Magic Random has no paid plan and intends to use advertising to help cover hosting, feedback storage, and maintenance. Ads can appear only after approval and according to the site's consent settings.

Clear about limitations

The tools select from a list and keep local history, but they do not verify eligibility, legally certify an event, or provide permanent records. Organizers still define rules and validate source data.

Product improvement and corrections

Guides and explanations are written to help people use the tools appropriately in real situations, not merely to increase page count. When feature behavior changes, related content should be reviewed and updated to match the product.

If something is wrong, describe the steps, expected behavior, and observed result on the Feedback page without including passwords, personal lists, or sensitive information. Community members can like suggestions they want prioritized.
